Are there any perfumes that are cruelty free?

perfumes
Darkly Dreaming Scarlett asked:

Ones that were not testing on animals and that do not contain ingredients derived from animals?

(And yes, I realize this isn’t a food or drink question, but I figured people here might be more knowledgeable in regards to cruelty free products.)

A lot of my hippie vegan friends wear patchouli oil or satsuma oil. I love satsuma.

    List of non-animal tested perfumes:

Urban Decay Cosmetics has two vegan perfumes:

Avon has lots of vegan fragrances, according to this:
    (scroll down to “Fragrance”)

I don’t know about animal ingredients for the other companies.

    Thanks for buying cruelty-free!

Essential oils are all vegan and cruelty free. Rose Mountain supplies a lot of oils, as does Auracacia and Simply Organics. What is so cool about essential oils is that you can come up with your own fragrance by mixing them. Patchouli is a great “Hippy” one, but Bergamont is my favorite (added with Geranium and Lavender). Sandalwood and Musk are good for men.

Enjoy the smells of Nature! Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed to the fullest. It is good that you care about the impact even a little thing as cruelty-free products makes on this life. You don’t always have to go for the big things! Random acts of kindness in your own reality of life is central to peace in your world.

Lush has solid perfumes in tins that are vegan. Lush is adamantly against animal testing, all their products are vegetarian, and many are vegan.

Many vegan online retailers also have scents you can use as perfumes.
