Where can I find the ingredient scents in popular perfumes?

Alicia asked:

I’m trying to buy a new perfume. I have certain scents that I like, but I’m wondering if there is a commonality in those fragrances that will help me to pick a new one without smelling it first. Thanks!

I DON’T THINK YOU CAN BUY ANY INGREDIENTS IN PERFUMES. ALL PERFUMES ARE MADE IN A LABORATORY

Click on the scents you like on the left.
And then the subsections that come up.
    You’re welcome. :]

Perfume ingredients are more highly guarded than military secrets. (The could tell you, but then they’ll have to shoot you)

You cannot go by description. A good perfume reacts with the skin oils to creat a scent that is exclusively yours.

The only way is to try it for yourself - on your skin.
